3 Advantages of not having a Girlfriend

Hmmm...before you continue get this right I'm not saying you shouldn't have a gf I'm just saying having one has its own odds and not having has its own benefits too so I'm gonna be quick about this...

1. You are free: yes that's my favourite. Everyone deserves a degree of freedom and having a gf might limit this gift of God and blessing of nature. Freedom to flirt, freedom to get drunk, freedom to look at any lady without getting "the face" from your boo.

2. You get to avoid "extra cost": for the rich dudes this might not be a big deal but the broke guys who have fallen into the cold and deadly pit of love and would do anything I mean anything to please bae are the ones who would really get this..."Bae I need money for this" "bae 2mao is val" "bae next week is my birthday"...jeez! Dis is so messed up.

N.B: some girls are not demanding but if u calculate the airtime use to call bae/boo and the transportation cost (cos some girls will say they can't date the guy next door) it's something.

3. Add yours I've exhausted my points gotta think about some other points
P.S meditate on this..."A kiss may ruin a human life." —

Deeper Life completes Anchor University

Pastor Kumuyi’s Deeper Life Church Completes Its Private Varsity, ANCHOR
By admin - July 12, 2015

Work has been tidied up at the private university of Pastor W.F Kumuyi's Deeper Life Christian Ministry located in Lagos. Anchor University, located at Ayobo, a Lagos suburb, where the headquarters of Pastor Kumuyi’s church is also located, is now set for take-off, City People can inform you.A visit to the brand new campus at Ayobo last week by City People revealed that all is now set for the take-off of the institution. Every necessary facility is now ready and we learnt that the administrative staff for the institution have been employed too.
Anchor_UniversityAnchor University is running 5 faculties including; Arts, Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, School of Management and Accounting.Based on the vision of the owner, Anchor University would imbibe educational and moral values to millions of Nigerians, while making its charges affordable to all.The campus, sitting on a large expanse of land consists different structures including hostels, faculties, administrative blocks, chalets, laboratories etc. The Deeper Life headquarters area in Ayobo is now wearing a totally new and beautiful look. Funds for the university project according to reports were sourced from the ministry’s partner members and the Pastor Kumuyi himself.
The final take-off of the university will no doubt, be a huge accomplishment for Pastor Kumuyi, if the many setbacks that were recorded in the course of doing the project were anything to go by. The commissioningof Anchor University was billed for September 2012, but suffered a huge setback as the representatives of the NUC coming for final inspection and approval of the multi-billion project were in the ill fated Dana Air crash. Professor Celestine Onwuliri, husband of a serving minister and an executive director with the Nigerian Universities Commission was among the over 157 victims that died in the Dana Air crash which occurred on Sunday, June 3, 2012. He was the leader of the team.
William Folorunso Kumuyi (born June 9, 1941) is the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church at KM 42 on the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Nigeria. He is the author of several books. In the early 1970s, Kumuyi worked as a lecturer at the University of Lagos.
Kumuyi was born into a Christian family in Erin-Ijesha, Osun State, Nigeria. He completed his secondary school education in 1961, and in 1962 started teaching Mathematics at Mayflower School in Ikenne, Ogun-State. From where he proceeded to the University of Ibadan and in 1967 graduated with a first class honours degree in Mathematics. He became a born again Christian in April 1964. Kumuyi remarried in October 2010, in London, about 18 months after the death of his first wife.

Presidency unveils Buhari's Economic Team

The Presidency has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari has an economic management team. The Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Mr Laolu Akande, disclosed this in a telephone interview with our correspondent last light.
Akande was reacting to a media report that quoted some economic experts as urging the president to form his economic team. According to him, the economic team of President Buhari has been put in place since the inauguration of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) last November.
Akande said the economic management team is headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. He listed the team’s key members as including the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Senator Udoma Udo Udoma; the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun; the Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah; the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godswin Emefiele; and the Director-General of the Debt Management Office (DMO). He said the composition of the team was not static as Agriculture Minister Audu Ogbe and Information Minister Lai Mohammed as well as relevant permanent secretaries have also been involved.
The vice president’s aide said the team had since been meeting and engaging representatives of the private sector.
He noted that unlike what obtained in the past, Buhari’s administration did not make anybody from the private sector a member of the economic management team.
The vice president’s spokesman also exclusively told our correspondent that President Buhari had appointed Dr. Oluyemi Dipeolu as his Special Adviser on Economic Matters. He said the economic adviser, who was until his appointment in January a director in the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), has been working with the economic management team.

Dollar Hike: We Are Our Own Problem

Nigerians are perhaps the most opportunistic people on earth. With the recent hike in the Dollar against the Naira at the parallel market, One would think "hoarders" and traders have been praying for this moment to happen. They smile when they sell to you under the aegis of "Dollar has gone up" yet groan and blame Buhari when they themselves buy things they need to survive.
The recent hike in "pure water" price, from Lagos to Benin, to Enugu, one would realize after careful analysis that these people have no business increasing the prices of their products just because they intend to make horrible profits. There's a big difference between ripping off and making profits, and the former is what most have resorted to.
Just recently I called a popular sachet water company in Enugu here to supply me with water that would last me for a month, the owner, whom I spoke with on the phone intimated me that the initial selling price of N80 per bag had been abandoned and the new price is N100. His reason? "The Dollar has gone up". I had no choice but to settle for it, asked him to send his boys over after telling him how many I wanted.
With the heat and terrible atmosphere, I had finished every water in the house while still thirsty. I dashed out of the house to get a bag from a retailer around. The one I had ordered for was taking too long and I couldn't stand it; I couldn't bring myself to wait for the pure water vehicle to arrive.
To my amazement, the retailer just close to the house who had stocked even before the price of N100 per bag came into play told me he sells a bag for N150! "Why?" I mustered strength to ask him. "Are you not in this country?", he quizzed. "You no know say Dollar don cost?", he responded. I simply couldn't believe it. Let's pretend and just give it to him that he had bought his water at the rate of N100 per bag just like I confirmed from the man I spoke with on the phone, why wouldn't the retailer sell for N120 or N130? Why sell with a 50% profit just because everyone around him complains of the Dollar
There are virtually goods cum products in the market that had long been stocked before the Dollar rise and then you discover that their prices jump off the roof all of a sudden for no reason.
It is really saddening that we are the ones making life hard for ourselves. Worst of all, we are very much aware of this but would still not bat an eyelid. I find it baffling that we're quick to hike prices of goods and services and at the end of the day, find it hard to revert to the original price before the brouhaha responsible for the hike came into being. No one is saying profits should not be made, but when it becomes rip offs and cheap shots, then it shows that we are the most inconsiderate people ever. It shows that we are our own problems.

Why my convoy deserves a new car- Saraki

The office of the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, has issued the statement below to respond to an exclusive story by PREMIUM TIMES, that Mr Saraki has taken delivery of new cars, worth over N300million.
Read full statement below.
“Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has said only his official vehicle, a MercedezBenz, was changed and that the spare car in the convoy is the old one he inherited and has been using since he assumed office June last year.
“Reacting to the claim by Premium Times that the Senate President has taken delivery of vehicles worth N330m, Yusuph Olaniyonu, the Special Adviser, stated that it was wrong for Premium Times to classify vehicles provided for security agencies like the police and State Security Service by the National Assembly management for their operations as vehicles bought for the Senate President.
“It is an obvious fact that the official and spare cars that the Senate President inherited and has been using are old and have been malfunctioning. There are instances like the day Dr. Saraki visited Keffi for the marriage of the daughter of Senator Abdullahi Adamu and another day at the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport that the spare vehicle broke down. In both instances, the spare vehicle did not return home with the convoy. The same vehicle had malfunctioned at the Presidential Villa and National Mosque on different occasions. It is for this reason that the Senate President approved that instead of providing two vehicles for him as he is entitled, only one should be bought to replace the official vehicle while the old official car should be converted to spare car.
“Also, if the National Assembly Management chose to provide operational vehicles for Security Agencies, should that be presented as if they are personal or official vehicles meant for the use of Dr. Saraki? These are vehicles that cannot be used for other purposes and by other people. The Senate President also have no control over the security vehicles.
“it is also surprising that despite the fact that Premium Times in the same story reported that the order for the vehicle was made in December, it chose to calculate the value of the vehicles based on current exchange rate of the Naira to the dollar. This is obviously a mischief aimed at making the figure look huge and justify the screaming headline.
“The press should avoid deliberately inciting members of the public against public officials. The Senate President and his colleagues are conscious of the economic situation in the country and will continue to act responsibly and responsively.
“Just last week, Dr. Saraki was informed that the Ministry of FCT in its 2016 budget proposed a N6 billion estimate for the construction of the official residence of the Senate President. He outrightly rejected the proposal and directed Senator Dino Melaye, Chairman, Senate Committee on FCT to bring down the cost to one billion Naira. He said that it should be made known to the Ministry that if it cannot construct the building with N1 billion then they should leave out the project entirely till after his tenure. He said he will rather stay in his present abode. Senator Melaye had already acted as instructed as indicated in the report his committee presented to the Appropriation Committee.
“It should therefore be noted that if Dr. Saraki can demonstrate frugality and responsible leadership in a matter that saved the country so much money, how can it then be presented as if purchase of cars is a big issue that he cares so much about? Those who know the antecedent of the Senate President know that there is no type of vehicle that can excite him at this stage in his life”, Olaniyonu stated.

Nigerians' reputation for crime has made them unwelcome in Europe and America- Buhari

During an interview with Telegraph UK in London this week, Pres. Buhari warned Nigerians to stop trying to make asylum claims in Britain, saying that their reputation for criminality has made it hard for them to be "accepted" abroad.Buhari said those who had joined the migrant exodus to Europe were doing so purely for economic reasons rather than because they were in danger.
He added that because of the number of Nigerians imprisoned for law-breaking in Britain and elsewhere, they were also unlikely to get much sympathy.
"Some Nigerians claim is that life is too difficult back home, but they have also made it difficult for Europeans and Americans to accept them because of the number of Nigerians in prisons all over the world accused of drug trafficking or human trafficking. I don't think Nigerians have anybody to blame. They can remain at home, where their services are required to rebuild the country."he said

These statements by president Buhari, sparks alot of criticisms from Nigerians both home and abroad , they are calling for the head of the president.
I will exact comments from various and random social medias.
This will show the world that Nigerians are not zombies, they are fully aware of issues around... See captions below...
